All Things May

Happy May, everyone!

I love this time of year—flowers exploding everywhere, the incredible amount of GREEN here in the PNW, and of course, the end of another school year. For many of you, it’s bittersweet as you watch the seasons of life go by… children leaving home or graduating, little ones getting older.  For others, it signifies the passage of time, as we are heading into summer. I’m so glad that God is with us in every season!

This month, we continue our Bible read-through with a beautiful and timely focus: worship, wisdom, leadership, legacy, and the fear of the Lord. We’ll begin in the Psalms, lifting our eyes to the greatness, holiness, mercy, and faithfulness of God. Then we’ll move into the transition from David to Solomon, the building and dedication of the temple, and Solomon’s early wisdom. From there, we’ll spend significant time in Proverbs, Song of Songs, and Ecclesiastes—books that teach us how to live wisely, love rightly, steward our homes, guard our hearts, and remember that life apart from God is empty.

What a perfect month to begin Becoming MomStrong together. This study is about more than motherhood—it’s about becoming women who know the Word, love God deeply, lead with courage, and pass on faith to the next generation. As we read through Scripture this month, we’ll see the same theme again and again: wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, and faithfulness in the home matters for generations.

Our Becoming MomStrong study begins Monday, May 4 at 11 am Pacific with an overview. You’ll need both the book and the Bible study, so be sure to grab those if you haven’t already. And please invite a friend! We are switching to a new system and ramping up our time together—it’s going to be rich, practical, encouraging, and powerful.

Join me Mondays at 11am Pacific as I walk you through Becoming MomStrong. I truly believe this will bless you.

And don’t forget—registration opens soon for Faith That Speaks Oregon Coast Retreat, October 9–11, 2026. We’ll be going alllll the way back to Genesis:

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. Gen 1:31

Our theme this year is Restore the Story:

Reclaiming God’s beautiful design for His Creation

In a culture that is redefining truth, identity, and family, it’s easy to feel disoriented—even discouraged. This weekend, we’ll go back to God’s original design, where hope, freedom and joy are found. With biblical conviction and real-world application, we will challenge the confusion of our day and equip believers to reclaim truth in their homes and communities. There is hope for what’s been distorted—and a way forward that honors God. It’s time to restore the story—and live it with courage. Join us this October for two days that will change your life!
