I am 52 years old and live in Northwest Indiana in the middle of nowhere with my husband of 25 years, Sam. We are new empty-nesters with a 20 year old son and 18 year old daughter. I was an elementary school teacher before kids and homeschooled them from Pre-K through graduation. I grew up going to church when I visited my grandparents until I was invited by a friend to her church's youth group in 8th grade. I gave my life to Christ my freshman year in high school, doing my best to learn more without the support of family. It was when I began my journey through infertility (nearly 14 years later) that I really started to lean on God and trust Him more fully. I'm still learning and growing in my faith every day!
